Are you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or struggling to cope with life's challenges? Taking the first step to seek support is a brave and courageous decision. You don't have to face your struggles alone. We all need help from time to time, and I'm here to offer you the support and guidance you need to navigate through these difficult times.
I'm Karolina, a BACP registered therapist offering a collaborative approach to help individuals aged 16 and above. Through a safe and non-judgmental space, we'll work together to explore your experiences, overcome challenges, and find the life you want to live. I specialise in supporting clients with depression, anxiety, and trauma using a flexible approach based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
My goal is to empower you to become your own therapist, harnessing your strengths to navigate life's challenges.
With unconditional acceptance and a focus on your unique needs, we'll work towards improving your mental well-being and quality of life. Together, we can build the life you desire and develop the tools and resilience needed to face future obstacles with confidence and clarity. Therapy can be incredibly helpful if you believe in the process and are open to change.
Counselling is a collaborative process that provides you with a safe space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. When we work together, you will have the time and space to delve into your thoughts and feelings in depth, and I will offer fresh perspectives to help you view your situation from different angles. Throughout our sessions, you will be truly listened to and heard, ensuring that you feel validated and understood.
Counselling can help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself, develop coping strategies, and make positive changes in your life. Through this process, you can learn to manage stress, improve relationships, enhance self-awareness, and build resilience to face life's challenges with greater confidence and clarity. Together, we will work towards helping you achieve a healthier, happier, and more fulfilling life.

While counselling and psychotherapy are often used interchangeably, there is a subtle difference between the two. Counselling typically focuses on present issues and provides short-term support to help you navigate specific challenges or crises. Psychotherapy, on the other hand, is a longer-term process that delves deeper into your past experiences, thought patterns, and emotional responses to create lasting change and personal growth. Both approaches aim to improve your mental well-being and help you lead a more fulfilling life.
"Karolina has been nothing but amazing and has helped me to see myself in a different light she has been supportive, challenging my thoughts and making me see myself in the best possible way. She has given me tools to help myself if I ever feel like I am slipping back into a place of negativity and I am grateful for her time and patience with me."
